Service

"Service makes the world a better place."

As one of the three tenets, service is a fundamental element of Circle K International. Collectively, Circle K members perform more than one million hours of service on their campuses and in their communities annually. Through service, college students are making the world a better place one service project at a time.

District Service Initiatives

DSI

Each year, the Cal-Nev-Ha District of Circle K adopts and works toward a new District Service Initiative (DSI). This new service initiative provides a focus for the service that we do. During the term, members from throughout the district collaborate to achieve and bring the goals of this new cause to life. In past years, our DSIs have ranged from Anti-Bullying, Leap Towards Literacy, Hope for the Homeless, Serve to Conserve: Planet Conservation, and Focusing on Education. For the 2024-2025 term, we have one rotating DSI: Right to Basic Necessities

There are also four International Service Initiatives, which remain the same each year. These are goals of which all Circle K districts focus on:

1) Childhood Development

2) Environmental Justice

3) Food Insecurity and Homelessness

4) Mental Health
